Back to School

Well, that's what I get for not blogging like I had planned (everything has a new look). Here's to hoping that I blog more than I have in the past. My kiddos started school today, inside of me there is an extreme sadness. One.... my oldest daughter is a Senior in high school this year :( Two... my youngest daughter started middle school :( Three.. that means Summer has come to an end :( However Summer coming to an end also means that Fall will be here soon... which means fair season, apple season, Halloween and crusty leaves (I love that sound). I am really trying a stricter routine with scheduling everyday tasks like housework, mealtime and bedtime. Here's to hoping that it works the way I want it to this year. If not I will make the best of it, making adjustments along the way.

WowZzzZZZers!!

Wowzers is an understatement, been too long since my last bloggerooni!! Made it through the holidays just fine, with no major catastrophes (which in my family is a PLUS) The rest of the school year was great for the kiddies, baseball season was fun, softball season was an adventure this year. My youngest decided to play this year and it was a great learning experience for her. I was just happy we were able to work around double and sometimes triple game nights successfully.

As everyone knows the economy is in the crapper so family vacations this year are at a minimum. My son is playing football this year (for the first time) so we need to stay close to home with day trips. We landed at the beach once so far this year to see the BEEYOOTEEFUL sand sculptures (pics below) We are planning a day trip to Water Country, a trip to Castle Island and a trip to the World's Longest Candy Counter a.k.a. CHUTTERS, located in Littleton, NH. Our trips are all planned for August so am hoping that the weather cooperates that week!! Take care and Live Laugh Love!!

It's the most wonderful time of the year!!!

I know I know, I always say i love this time of the year, but truly I do. I love the baking, the cooking the getting together with family and friends. It is the realization that this time of year isn't all about ourselves but yet giving a piece of ourselves to share with the world and letting loved ones know how important they are to us. So with that sappy stuff said here is a pic of this years yummalicious treats :o)
